Safety Policy

F.G. Skerritt Ltd is committed to ensure that high standards of health, safety and welfare are maintained throughout the company and any interface with our operations in particular.

  • All employees will carry out their duties in a safe manner.
  • Health & Safety hazards to others will be minimised and controlled.
  • The assessment of risk will be managed.

In order to achieve our high standards in health and safety every employee is made aware of our policy and their responsibility to actively co-operate with the company to manage and implement the policy.

Competent persons are appointed to manage and carry out our activities and to assist in meeting and complying with our legal and statutory duties.

Our employees and subcontractors are made aware of their legal obligation to co-operate with us to enable all statutory duties be complied with. This also includes their obligation to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and for others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.

The allocation of duties for safety matters and the arrangements for the implementation of our policy are contained within our management system manuals/flowcharts which are regularly reviewed.
