Summary

To supply and install new mechanical heating services within the sub-basement plant room of the Newton Building.

The Newton Building was fed directly from the local Nottingham district heating scheme throughout the building.

The district heating was routed to within the plant room area where it was connected to brazed plate heat exchangers.

From the new plate heat exchangers a secondary heating header circuit system was introduced around the whole of the plant room, and all the existing zoned heating circuits were connected into this header leaving no systems being fed directly from the district heat scheme.
