Summary

Mechanical services include the supply and installation of a metered gas supply to the boiler house. Mains cold water to storage tanks situated in the roof tank room, which is boosted to provide a constant pressure. The hot water system supplied by duplicate gas hot water heaters stores water at 60 C with a secondary pumped domestic HWS system maintaining water at 55 C serving all hot water outlets, including baths and showers. An unvented LTHW heating system serves the buildings radiators with TRV control, except those manually operated in the corridors. Ensuite toilets are connected to a common extract system with kitchen and all other toilets and the gymnasium having individual extract facilities.

Electrical services include a new mains distribution system. New lighting is installed throughout the building to comply with LG3 standards; new power accessories are RCD protected. Telecom and data systems are distributed via 4 main distribution cabinets incorporating: structured cabling, voice backbone, data backbone and patching accessories. The fire alarm installed is analogue addressable. Security systems include CCTV, panic alarms and intercom door access.
