F.G. Skerritt Ltd is committed to achieving best practice in environmental performance.

We recognise our activities will always have some impact on the environment and we endeavour to minimise any adverse effect where possible. We believe that good environmental practice helps ensure good business performance.

In order to achieve our environmental goals we:

Conduct our activities within the legislative obligations and set objectives and targets
for us to achieve.

Develop and promote practices that minimise where practicable, the detrimental environmental impacts our activities have upon the environment.

Encourage the development of suitable methods, which promote environmental protection or minimise their environmental effects.

Encourage clients and suppliers to pursue environmental best practice.

Provide a system, which promotes environmental consideration in our work to our employees.

Attempt to make efficient use of natural resources and minimise where possible our use of utilities and production of waste.

Continue to review our activities to ensure objectives and targets are met, and a programme of continuous improvement is implemented taking account of the change in environmental legislation and environmental priorities.
